Mrs. Lovelie Abad Safdie' (maiden name "Tapalla") is the wife of Rev. Mischa Safdie'. Her native country before coming to the U.S. is the Philippines. Before marrying Mischa, she was a graduate of B.S. in Accountancy in Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan), licensed Certified Public Accountant, professionally involved in accounting and bank operations with China Bank. Lovelie served faithfully for many years in Gospel Light Baptist Church in Cagayan De Oro, Philippines where she taught children and youth classes, played the piano during worship and assisted in bookkeeping and auditing duties. Maintaining the conservative nature and character Lovelie has always had, after meeting Mischa, she eventually moved to California to be with her husband. Shortly after her arrival she had a miraculous encounter with the Lord and much like in the second chapter of the Book of Acts, she was baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of the speaking in tongues and became a "Spirit filled" believer in Christ. Lovelie has faithfully been a support and assistance to her husband as he first served as Asst. Pastor and then as a Senior Pastor of two churches. She evangelizes in street ministry and among the lost, is an excellent speaker at church and other Christian events, plays music during worship and assists her husband in many other ways. She has been gifted with a prophetic ministry and shares in her husband's apostolic ministry. |
