THE REV. JOHN DOE - SUPERSTAR!
I am not directing this at any one specifically but I honestly believe the majority of ministers today have no idea of what they are supposed to be doing. Each has his own agenda he spiritualizes and then calls "a vision from God" or "the Word for the hour". Really? Is God schizophrenic? Does He contradict Himself? Because if you listened to all these ministers...pied pipers behind a pulpit claiming their way is "THE WAY" you would walk away totally confused, as much of the world is. Really there has ALWAYS only been one message and one vision. The lack of unity in the true message and vision of the Gospel ...the message of the cross is appalling among ministers and has been replaced with envy and jealousy. Most of them were NEVER called to do what they are doing. The bible talks about "each one doing what is right in his own eyes. " I am sick and tired of ministers saying, "Oh you better be a part of this because it's gonna be big!" Quit promoting yourself and your program or agenda and give way to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. About 99 per cent of ministers that talk like that have a "big I, little Jesus" complex and they left Christ behind in the dust somewhere a long time ago while they got busy trying to promote themselves and build their own kingdoms. I got a Word for those who fit into this catagory. "Get over yourselves! It was never all about you anyway." If you find this going on in your church do yourself and the body of Christ a favor and leave. Instead go find a Bible believing church that steadfastly preaches the finished work of the cross of Christ as the only means to victory over sin and eternal salvation in heaven. Find a church that is not afraid to preach about sin and it's deadly consequences, not too politically correct to speak out on issues the Bible openly talks about that might offend some and one not afraid to let people know there is a heaven to be sought after and a hell to be feared. Find a church that adheres to the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
