Hi Phil: The Lord cares about you desires. He says that if we delight ourselves in Him that He will give us the desires of our heart. His Word also says that He will withhold no good thing from us, and that he who finds a wife finds a good thing. He also says though that if we seek first His Kingdom that He will (then) give us the desires of our heart. But we need to put Him first. You are doing the right thing in believing God's promises and Word. Now, just continue to live for Him and He will take care of all your needs and your desire for companionship, and He will provide a way for you both financially. God is a God of miracles and He can do anything...even turn what seems like hopeless and impossible situations around. I have seen it and He did it for me. I believe God wants you to have what you are asking for. When He created Adam, He said "It is not good to be alone." And then he created Eve for Adam. God realized and was sensitive to his needs and will do the same for you also. Thank you for sharing on this prayer request site and I have prayed for you. I encourage any others also reading to keep you in their prayers. May the Lord bless you.
